Annual Benefit Statements 2024
2024 Member Annual Benefit Statements now available
Powys Pension Fund has met its statutory requirement to produce Annual Benefit Statements (ABS) for those active and deferred members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) as at 31 March 2024.
The 2024 Member ABS have now been uploaded to the Fund’s secure online member portal ‘My Powys Pension’ and registered users of the portal should log in here to view by selecting “Documents” and then “My Documents”.
The figures quoted in the 2024 Active Member ABS provide an illustration for members and are not legally binding. The total amount of benefits which a member would receive on retirement may be different and members should request a Benefit Estimate before making any decision to retire. The Notes of Guidance to accompany the ABS can be found linked below.
A Deferred Member ABS displays the current value of a deferred member's benefits that takes account of any annual inflationary increases since the member either left their LGPS employment, or ceased contributing to the Scheme. These statements have been produced using information supplied to the Pension Fund by your former LGPS employer and are produced for illustration purposes on the understanding that they are not legally binding on the Powys Pension Fund.

Those members who have requested for their statement be posted to their home address, will receive them by 31st August 2024. If you have not written to the Fund requesting a paper copy of your statement, the only way you will be able to view this, and future years' statements, is to register to use the My Powys Pension service.
